Overview
We're seeking a Cloud & Systems Administrator to support and modernize a Microsoft-centric technology environment. This role combines traditional infrastructure administration with cloud transformation initiatives, helping the organization evolve from a hybrid environment toward a cloud-first model.
The ideal candidate is comfortable managing Microsoft 365 services, Windows infrastructure, endpoint management, identity and access controls, and security technologies while contributing to automation and modernization efforts.
This is a full-time direct hire position which will be fully onsite in Eden Prairie, MN with salary up to $80,000.
Key Responsibilities
- Administer and support Microsoft 365 services, including Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, and Entra ID.
- Manage Windows Server infrastructure, Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, and related core services.
- Maintain user access, identity management, single sign-on configurations, permissions, and application integrations.
- Expand and manage endpoint administration through Microsoft Intune, including device configuration, compliance policies, application deployment, and Autopilot provisioning.
- Assist in migrating systems and identity services from on-premises infrastructure to cloud-based solutions.
- Implement and maintain security controls such as Conditional Access, multifactor authentication, passwordless authentication, and identity protection.
- Administer Microsoft security platforms, including Defender technologies used to protect endpoints and users.
- Support system availability through monitoring, backup management, recovery planning, and overall infrastructure reliability initiatives.
- Evaluate opportunities to modernize, consolidate, or migrate existing technologies to cloud-based services.
- Develop automation solutions using PowerShell and Microsoft administration tools to improve operational efficiency.
- Troubleshoot complex issues involving infrastructure, endpoints, cloud services, applications, and user access.
- Create and maintain technical documentation and participate in change management and disaster recovery processes.
Qualifications
- Experience administering Microsoft 365 and Entra ID environments.
- Strong knowledge of Windows Server and Active Directory administration.
- Experience with Microsoft Intune and modern endpoint management practices.
- Understanding of Microsoft security technologies, identity management, and access controls.
- Familiarity with hybrid cloud environments and cloud migration initiatives.
- PowerShell scripting or automation experience preferred.
- Strong troubleshooting, documentation, and problem-solving skills.
